Robotics
Rossignol High School Robotics had quite the year this year. We started out in September with our eyes on the competitions, and got right to work. This year we participated in 2 sets of competitions: the Sask Polytech Robot Rumble (Sumobots) and the Skills Canada Mobile Robotics competition (this year it was playing Hockey). We designed our robots, constructed them from scratch, got them all programmed and ready, and competed.
We were fortunate enough this year to win the Sask Polytech Robot Rumble (for the 4th time in a row), take the Gold at the Skills Canada Saskatchewan Provincial Mobile Robotics Competition, and take Silver at the Skills Canada National Mobile Robotics Competition. Our best results ever!
Throughout these competitions, and throughout the entire year, our students proved what we are really made of. We overcame all obstacles, helped each other throughout the entire year, and came together to have the most successful year yet. Our students made us very proud. They competed, had fun, learned a lot, and did their best. They represented Rossignol High School, Ile-a-la Crosse, and all of Saskatchewan with great pride!
